'Tell you what Clive', this fella's a bit of an 'Old Fashioned Centre Half', who is not afraid to put in a few 'reducers' on opposing strikers if necessary. The 'Big Curly Fella' did not make many appearances last season due to contractual negotiations with the chairman - but with his new contact in the bag he is poised and ready for the forthcoming season. This lad is a 'solid citizen' at the back and 'for my money' the owner of the most powerful knee in the squad. He is looking to fight his way back in to the first team for the 2002-2003 season.
