Dave is another of the UCE contingent who've found there way into the squad. Two clean sheets in his first two games was surely no coincidence. A calm and assured defender, the only thing that could have reduced his number of appearances is his love of Ipswich Town for whom he had a season ticket, but their failure last year could very much be our gain as he promises to be around more this season.
